Meet The Founder
My name is Candida Villegas
I'm a childcare provider who provide service to children ages 0 to 11 years. I'm also an educator with B.A in Child Development. I teach students and I'm passionate about what I do. What makes our daycare outstanding is that all of our teachers have a background in teaching, making it for
your child to have one of the world's best mentors.
What made me become a teacher and childcare provider was my firstborn, Daila; she is my biggest inspiration It's why our business is named after her: Daila's Land Family Childcare.
I wanted to do what I love most, and that was to teach and shape lives one day at a time.
Opening my own childcare was not just a dream, but it also opened the privilege of becoming a present parent, allowing me to not miss any of my child's milestones and be her first teacher.

I’ve been part of the Daila’s Family for some time now. I graduated from high school in 2017 and afterwards attended San Jose state university. While there I studied BA Social Science for early education . I’ve worked in a number of school based industries , have always had a passion for children and teaching. During my free time I enjoy watching Disney movies, shopping, ax throwing, legos and escape rooms.

I began my journey here in 2016 and have spent majority of my time in the classroom building lasting relationships with families and aiding in the growth and development of all the children I had in my classroom. Working with children is a great passion of mine. I take a lot of pride in it. Outside of work I spend my time caring for my fur babies , “ Tobbie and Missy” I absolutely adore them!
